Regular Season Round 25: Pardinyes-L. - Sant Adria 106-80

Rather predictable result when first ranked Pardinyes-L. (18-3) rolled over 3rd placed Sant Adria (15-6) in Lleida 106-80 on Sunday. Pardinyes-L. made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Sant Adria turnovers and had a 35-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pardinyes-L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Sant Adria's players. It was a very good performance for American swingman Wendell Davis (198-95, college: Ashland, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 45 points (!!!), 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals (on 17-of-21 shooting from the field). Forward Ruben Fernandez (192-93) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Pardinyes-L. players scored in double figures. Point guard Jaume Lobo (180-97) answered with 19 points and guard Enric Nogales (187-94) added 18 points in the effort for Sant Adria. Sant Adria's coach Mario Lousame gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Pardinyes-L. maintains first place in Group C-B with 18-3 record. Loser Sant Adria keeps the third position with six games lost. Pardinyes-L. will face JAC Sants (#9) in Barcelona in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sant Adria will play on the road against SESE (#8) in Barcelona and hope to win that game.
