Rather expected game in Tokyo where 6th ranked Saitama Broncos (14-22) were crushed by third ranked Koshigaya A. (27-9) 91-72. Koshigaya A. forced 20 Saitama Broncos turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for American Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). Point guard Ryo Narumi (170-87) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import center Antone Warren (208-93, college: Antelope Valley CC) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Saitama Broncos. Koshigaya A. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 27-9 record having five points less than leader Tokyo Excel. Saitama Broncos at the other side keep the sixth place with 22 games lost. Koshigaya A.'s next round opponent will be Iwate Big Bulls (#9) at home where they are favorite.
