The game with biggest result difference took place in Cork. Local Neptune (5-16) lost to third ranked Templeogue (14-6) 95-77 on Monday night. Templeogue outrebounded Neptune 59-31 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Neptune's players. American center Dee Proby (208-88, college: Oklahoma City) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Neil Randolf chipped in 23 points during the contest. Five Templeogue players scored in double figures. Templeogue's coach Mark Keenan used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Darragh OSullivan (182-0) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Adam Heaphy (190-98) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Templeogue maintains third position with 14-6 record behind leader Tralee. Neptune lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Templeogue will meet bottom-ranked Moycullen (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Neptune will play against Swords Thunder in Dublin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
