The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Dublin: DCU Saints (#6) and Killester (#5). DCU Saints (11-9) smashed visiting Killester (13-8) by 18 points 92-74. DCU Saints dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Killester's 36. They outrebounded Killester 60-31 including a 48-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for DCU Saints especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Killester's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. DCU Saints maintains sixth position with 11-9 record. Killester at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. DCU Saints are looking forward to face Killorglin (#10) in the next round. Killester will play against UCC Demons (#7) in Cork and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
