Regular Season Round 33: Levice - Prievidza 55-75

The game between second ranked Levice (20-10) and fourth ranked Prievidza (18-11) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Levice was crushed by Prievidza in Levice 55-75. They outrebounded Levice 40-25 including 31 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for forward Stacy Davis (198-94, college: Pepperdine, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 4 assists. Point guard Rodney Glasgow (180-92, college: VMI) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Vincent Council (188-90, college: Providence) answered with 12 points and 4 assists and forward Dwayne Benjamin (201-93, college: Oregon) added 4 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Levice. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prievidza moved-up to third place, which they share with Iskra Svit. Defending champion Levice keeps the second position with ten games lost. Prievidza is looking forward to face league's leader Inter Bratislava at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Levice will play against Nova Ves and is hoping to win this game.
