Regular Season Round 24: Visby - Hogsbo 66-69

Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Hogsbo (10-10) edged on the road 9th ranked Visby Ladies (6-14) 69-66 on Wednesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-11. But Visby Ladies won second period 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hogsbo made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Hanna Johansson (185-89, college: Alaska-Anch.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American power forward Alexis Hyder (180-94, college: LSU) who added 20 points and 10 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Irish guard Anna Kelly (168-97, college: Fordham) with 20 points and 8 assists and American guard Branndais Agee (180-94, college: Michigan St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Visby Ladies players scored in double figures. Hogsbo have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Hogsbo maintains seventh position with 10-10 record. Visby Ladies at the other side keep the ninth place with 14 games lost.
