D1 round 9 caused change at the leadership position. First defeat of league's leader Patriots (12-1) against fourth ranked IPRC-Kigali (6-6) 81-78 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Patriots. IPRC-Kigali forced 21 Patriots turnovers.
