Sixteenth-ranked Le Portel (7-16) made lots of trouble for tenth ranked Boulazac Basket (13-10). The visitors from Boulazac managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected much easier game. Boulazac Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Dutch center Nicolas de-Jong (210-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bourg and Gravelines. Le Portel at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Fos-Provence. Boulazac Basket will play against Le Mans (#11) on the road in the next round. Le Portel will play against JDA Dijon (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
