Dragons Rhoendorf dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Coburg's 42. They outrebounded Coburg 50-28 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dragons Rhoendorf players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (205-93, college: Wisc.-Parkside) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 27 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Alexander Moeller (207-98) contributed with 19 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Dragons Rhoendorf's coach Thomas Adelt allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. French guard Kevin Franceschi (191-93, college: Oklah.Baptist) answered with 22 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and American point guard Chase Adams (177-88, college: Pittsburgh) added 13 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals in the effort for Coburg.
