Not a big story in a game in Sinj where 10th ranked Alkar (7-11) was outplayed by second ranked KK Zadar (14-4) 103-62 on Saturday. The game without a history. KK Zadar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. KK Zadar forced 20 Alkar turnovers. KK Zadar looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Alkar's players. The best player for the winners was international power forward Domagoj Vukovic (206-93) who scored 21 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Naturalized Bosnian forward Jure Planinic (206-0) chipped in 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KK Zadar keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Cibona. Alkar at the other side keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. KK Zadar will face H.Analitica (#11) in Zagreb in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alkar will play on the road against Gorica in Velika Gorica and hope to win that game.
