Regular Season Round 50: Fukushima - Gunma 76-70

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Gunma (35-15) on the court of fourth ranked Fukushima on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Fukushima 76-70. American center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) responded with 26 points and 9 rebounds and Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Gunma's coach Fujitaka Hiraoka rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fukushima maintains fourth position with 22-28 record. Gunma at the other side still keeps top place with 15 games lost. Fukushima are again looking forward to face league's leader Gunma at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Gunma will have a break next round.
