Regular Season Round 4: Willetton T. - Lakeside L. 71-90

An interesting game was played in Willetton where Lightning (#4) crushed host Tigers (#6) with 19-point difference 90-71 on Saturday evening. Lightning outrebounded Tigers 44-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Rowan Mackenzie (188-99) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and guard Kyle Armour (183-89, college: Augusta) who added 23 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Lightning players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Jackson Hussey (190-92, college: Pikeville) responded with 27 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Maurice Barrow (196-92, college: Fairfield) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lightning maintains fourth position in League with 2-0 record. Loser Tigers dropped to the eighth place with one game lost. Lightning will meet at home Redbacks (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tigers will play against Slammers (#14) in Bunbury and hope to win that game.
