There was a small surprise in Morphett Vale where ninth ranked Noarlunga City Southern Tigers (1-2) won against 6th ranked Central District Lions (1-2) 95-79 on Saturday. Noarlunga City Southern Tigers forced 21 Central District Lions turnovers. The former international swingman Anthony Drmic (198-92, college: Boise St.) fired 35 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American swingman CJ Turnage (201-95, college: Saginaw Valley) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Four Noarlunga City Southern Tigers players scored in double figures.
