Fourth-ranked KFUM Uppsala (7-7) was very close to win a game against second ranked Akropol (12-4) in Stockholm on Saturday. Akropol managed to secure only one-point victory 85-84. However their fans expected easier game. KFUM Uppsala was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Akropol looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-88) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists. Serbian center Milos Tanaskovic (203-93) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Samuel Eliasson Godonou (185-93) answered with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Rickard Eriksson (190-82) added 18 points in the effort for KFUM Uppsala. Five Akropol and four KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Akropol have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 12-4 record having just one point less than leader Norrort. KFUM Uppsala at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with KFUM Fryshuset 2.
