We should mention about the upset which took place in Granada, where higher ranked CB Granada (17-11) lost at home to tenth ranked Carramimbre (15-13) 64-74 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CB Granada. Point guard Oscar Alvarado (184-91) fired 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Greg Gantt (188-91, college: Florida Atlantic) chipped in 19 points. The former international center Guillem Rubio (202-82) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Devin Wright (202-86) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Carramimbre moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Huesca. Newly promoted CB Granada keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Carramimbre will face Real Canoe (#14) in Madrid in the next round where they are favorite. CB Granada will play on the road against the league's leader Real Betis (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
