The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Helsinki: MuKi (#2) and HNMKY (#4). MuKi (14-2) smashed visiting HNMKY (10-8) by 36 points 110-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of HNMKY. The game without a history. MuKi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to HNMKY's 40 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. MuKi forced 21 HNMKY turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by HNMKY's players. The best player for the winners was Tom Niiranen (192-0) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 assists. Roope Karhunen (194-0) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Five MuKi players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Kevin Van-Dessel who recorded 11 points and 4 assists and Ian Uwamungu (186-1) added 10 points respectively. HNMKY's coach Timo Saukkola gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. MuKi maintains second position with 14-2 record having five points less than leader Rocks. HNMKY at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost.
