We should not miss the game where eighth ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (2-1) against one of their biggest challengers Canberra Gunners (1-2) where Manly Warringah Sea Eagles won on the road by twelve points 82-70. The winners were led by guard Kevin White (189-87, college: Alaska-Anch.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and guard Steven White (182-90, college: Alaska-Anch.) supported him with 19 points and 5 assists. Even 19 points by Broderick Doran did not help to save the game for Canberra Gunners. Center Darcy Malone (213-95, college: CS Fullerton) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Canberra Gunners' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles moved-up to fifth place in League.
