Regular Season Round 19: Reims - Nice 67-57

Very expected game when 9th ranked Nice (6-13) lost on the road to fifth ranked Reims (11-8) 67-57. They made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American forward Asia Logan (184-92, college: Pittsburgh) who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds (made all of her twelve free throws !!!). Sarah Ousfar (183-93) helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Reims players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Donica Cosby (172-88, college: Oklahoma City, agency: Two Points) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Mali center Astan Dabo (203-92) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Nice's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Reims maintains fifth place with 11-8 record. Nice at the other side keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. They share it with COB Calais. Reims will play against higher ranked Angers (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nice will play against COB Calais (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
