Regular Season Round 21: Split - Ragusa 75-77

The most exciting game of round 21 in the Prva Liga took place in Split. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-best ZKK Split (18-3) to seventh ranked Ragusa (11-10) 77-75 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 19-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Guard Karla Kalajzic (173-93) stepped up and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and point guard Ana Haklicka (172-0) chipped in 24 points. The best for the losing side was guard Katarina Puljic (171-92) with 21 points and 4 steals and point guard Josipa Silov (171-98) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Ragusa moved-up to sixth place. ZKK Split at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Ragusa are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Mursa (#12) in Osijek in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. ZKK Split will play on the road against Tresnjevka (#5) in Zagreb and is hoping to win this game.
