Regular Season Round 51: Hiroshima D. - Kagawa FA 90-92

The most exciting game of round 51 in the B2 League took place in Hiroshima. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd placed Dragonflies (29-22) to fifth ranked Kagawa FA (18-32) 92-90 on Sunday evening. Kagawa FA dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Dragonflies' 38. They outrebounded Dragonflies 41-24 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Inception Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 17 rebounds. His fellow American import center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Seiya Tanaka (186-91) who recorded 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Terrell Miller-Jr (203-95, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Kagawa FA moved-up to fourth place. Dragonflies lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the third position with 22 games lost. Kagawa FA are looking forward to face league's second-placed Kumamoto V. at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dragonflies will play against Bambitious Nara and are hoping to win this game.
