Rather predictable result in Zizur Mayor where first ranked Ardoi (20-2) defeated 5th ranked Valle de Egues (15-8) 83-77 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Ardoi dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Valle de Egues' 32. Dominican forward Rafa Matos (191-83) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Andres Zabaleta (200-94) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Argentinian guard Federico Villagra (187-90) responded with 22 points and point guard Alex Calvo (180-91) scored 15 points and 8 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ardoi have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A-A with 20-2 record.
