Very important is a road loss of third ranked San Miniato (18-8) against fourteenth ranked Montecatiniterme (10-16) on Sunday night. Visiting San Miniato was defeated by Montecatiniterme in a tough game in Montecatini 75-80. Montecatiniterme outrebounded San Miniato 40-19 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Samuele Moretti (197-98) notched 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and point guard Francesco Galli (188-98) supported him with 24 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!).
