Eighteenth-ranked Caceres Basket (7-22) made lots of trouble for third ranked RETAbet BB (19-9). The visitors from Bilbao managed to secure only two-point victory 76-74. However their fans expected much easier game. RETAbet BB dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Caceres Basket's 30. They outrebounded Caceres Basket 47-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. Montenegrin guard Nikola Rakocevic (191-91) added 13 points for lost side. Four Caceres Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. RETAbet BB have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Oviedo. Caceres Basket at the other side stay at the bottom position with 22 games lost. RETAbet BB's next round opponent will be Palencia Baloncesto (#7) at home where they are favorite. Caceres Basket will play against Araberri (#16) in Vitoria-Gasteiz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
