There was a minor upset in Agrigento where 7th ranked Moncada AGR (14-12) was defeated by tenth ranked Novipiu Casale (14-12) 88-81 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was naturalized American Dalton Pepper (196-90, college: Temple) who scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Kruize Pinkins (201-93, college: USF) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds.
