Regular Season Round 23: Levallois - Bourg 85-96

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Levallois (11-12) was defeated at home by ninth ranked JL Bourg (13-10) 96-85. They made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. JL Bourg shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for Maxime Courby (200-90) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 8 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 20 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Five JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American guard Rasheed Sulaimon (193-94, college: Maryland) came up with 16 points and 5 assists and Croatian point guard Roko-Leni Ukic (196-84) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Levallois in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. JL Bourg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Boulazac and Gravelines. Levallois at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. JL Bourg's next round opponent will be league's leader ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
