Vytis upset Neptunas-Akv. to surge ahead for 2-0 advantage. Center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) notched 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Paulius Beliavicius (196-88) supported him with 15 points and 4 assists. Even 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Tadas Pazera (194-98) did not help to save the game for Neptunas-Akv.. Center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts.
