Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Tigers (2-2) were outscored by sixth ranked Suns (2-3) in Willetton 88-62 on Friday. Suns made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Suns outrebounded Tigers 47-32 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Power forward Louis Timms (206-91, college: Wayland Baptist) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. American swingman Joshua Braun (193-94, college: GCU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Suns players scored in double figures. Guard Jackson Hussey (190-92, college: Pikeville) answered with 18 points and 5 assists and guard Damien Scott (192-92) added 9 points and 5 assists in the effort for Tigers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Suns went down to ninth position (League) due to points difference. Loser Tigers dropped to the eighth place with two games lost. Suns will face Slammers (#13) in Bunbury in the next round.
