Regular Season Round 5: Dandenong R. - BA CoE 88-99

Undefeated Dandenong Rangers (0-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by sixteenth ranked BA CoE (1-2) 99-88. Forward Kyle Bowen (203-0) stepped up and scored 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Alex Ducas chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Lucas Barker (183-93, college: Indianapolis) responded with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Matthew Kenyon (195-98) scored 13 points. Five BA CoE and four Dandenong Rangers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BA CoE left bottom position moving up to eleventh place in League. Dandenong Rangers at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. BA CoE will play against Diamond Valley Eagles (#13) in Greensborough in the next round. Dandenong Rangers will play at home against Diamond Valley Eagles and hope to get finally their first victory.
