Important game to mention about took place in Levallois. Twelfth ranked Levallois (12-12) saved a 2-point victory at home edging second-best Pau-Lacq-Orthez (15-8) 68-66 on Friday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: URI) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and point guard David Michineau (191-94) who added 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. Levallois' coach Frederic Fauthoux allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Zimbabwean power forward Vitalis Chikoko (208-91) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and American forward AJ Pacher (208-92, college: Wright St.) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. Levallois moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Le Mans and Limoges. Pau-Lacq-Orthez at the other side dropped to the third position with eight games lost. Levallois will play against Provence Basket (#16) in Fos-sur-Mer in the next round where they are favorite. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will play at home against Gravelines-Dunkerque (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
