UBC outgunned Lions to sweep the series. The game without a history. UBC St. Polten led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lions to just 7 points in third quarter. UBC St. Polten forced 21 Lions turnovers. Forward Paul Koroschitz (196-94) notched 24 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Martin Speiser (202-83) supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four UBC St. Polten players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds by Spanish forward Javier Medori (202-93) did not help to save the game for Lions. Timur Bas (200-94, college: Walsh) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for the guests.
