There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Plasencia (12-16) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked L'Hospitalet (12-16) 69-65 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Mouhamadou Diop (212-87) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks and American guard Garret Covington (196-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Two Points) who added 18 points during the contest. At the losing side point guard Jose Medina (185-93) responded with 13 points and 4 steals and American-Jamaican Duane Morgan (198-93, college: Adelphi) scored 9 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. L'Hospitalet maintains tenth position in Silver with 12-16 record. L'Hospitalet will face Baskonia (#11) at home in the next round.
