An interesting game for Rockets (49-28) which played road game in Sacramento against 3rd ranked Kings (37-39). First ranked Rockets managed to get a 11-point victory 119-108. Rockets made 24-of-27 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. James Harden (196-89, college: ASU) had a triple-double by scoring 50 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Swiss power forward Clint Capela (208-94) chipped in 24 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) responded with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and guard DeAaron Fox (192-97, college: Kentucky) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kings' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rockets maintains first position with 49-28 record. Kings at the other side keep the third place with 39 games lost. Rockets will have a break next day, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kings will play on the road against the league's second-placed Spurs in San Antonio and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
