Rather expected game when 5th ranked Reims (11-9) was crushed on the road by third ranked Angers (15-4) 72-53 on Saturday. Angers dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Reims' 28. Angers forced 23 Reims turnovers. The best player for the winners was naturalized DR Congolese forward Lorraine Lokoka (184-89, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds.
