Regular Season Round 28: Moron - Tormes 69-65

No shocking result in a game in Morón de la Frontera where eighth ranked Moron (14-15) won against 12th ranked Tormes (7-21) 69-65 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tormes won third quarter 16-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Taylor Cameron (196-91, college: Winona St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and forward Jon Aramburu (204-92, agency: Duran International) who added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Aramburu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side center Osas Ehigiator (207-99) responded with 9 points and 14 rebounds and Victor Moreno (195-98) scored 13 points. Tormes' coach Jandro Zubillaga let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Moron maintains eighth position in Silver with 14-15 record. Newly promoted Tormes keeps the twelfth place with 21 games lost. Moron will face higher ranked Cocinas.com (#6) in Logrono in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tormes will play on the road against Menorca (#7) in Mahon and hope to win that game.
