Regular Season Round 25: Alpo VF - Moncalieri 52-60

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Alpo VF (21-4) in Verona on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Moncalieri (17-8) 60-52. Moncalieri dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Alpo VF's 28. They outrebounded Alpo VF 44-31 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of German forward Stefanie Grigoleit (186-89) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Ilenia Cordola (183-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners.
