Twelfth-ranked La Roda (9-19) gave a tough game to seventh ranked Cocinas.com (15-13) on Saturday. The visitors from Logrono managed to secure only three-point victory 77-74. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian forward Erik Nissen (206-95, college: Acadia) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds and center Arnau Parrado (200-0) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side Dominican forward Gregorio Adon (198-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Swiss forward Michel-Ofik Nzege (203-92, college: ECU) scored 14 points. Cocinas.com moved-up to sixth place in Silver. Loser La Roda keeps the twelfth position with 19 games lost. Cocinas.com will face Moron (#8) in Morón de la Frontera in the next round. La Roda will play at home against Fontedoso Carrefour (#9) and hope to win that game.
