Very expected game when 11th ranked Naron (8-15) was rolled over on the road by first ranked Ponferrada CDP (18-5) 99-69 on Saturday. Ponferrada CDP dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Naron's 34 and made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Ponferrada CDP forced 21 Naron turnovers and outrebounded them 45-25 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ponferrada CDP made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American Sean McDonell (203-95) who scored 34 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
