Everything went according to plan when third ranked JSF Nanterre (16-8) defeated at home 6th ranked SIG Strasbourg (14-10) 92-86. 26 personal fouls committed by SIG Strasbourg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-91, college: Akron) who scored 20 points and 8 rebounds.
