There was no surprise when 10th ranked Nantes (11-12) was crushed on the road by second ranked Entente Orleans 45 (18-6) 99-76. Entente Orleans 45 forced 21 Nantes turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for Kadri Moendadze (191-94) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. American point guard Brandon Jefferson (175-91, college: MSU Denver, agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 15 points and 7 assists for the winners. Five Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. Coach Germain Castano's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American-Portuguese Jeremiah Wilson (205-88, college: Tarleton St.) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and Ivorian swingman Vafessa Fofana (198-92) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Nantes. Entente Orleans 45 maintains second position with 18-6 record having just one point less than leader Roanne. Nantes lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 12 games lost. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Denain Voltaire (#16) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Nantes will play against SPO Rouen (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
