Not a big story in a game in Mataro where 9th ranked Boet (10-13) was outplayed by first ranked Tarragona (19-4) 91-68 on Saturday. Tarragona forced 19 Boet turnovers and outrebounded them 44-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Ferran Torres (201-88) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Senegalese forward Modou Mbaye (202-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Tarragona players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American Nicholas Moore (198-91, college: Nyack) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Miquel Puig (192-0) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tarragona have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Tarragona maintains first place in Group C-A with 19-4 record. Loser Boet dropped to the bottom position with 13 games lost. Tarragona will face league's second-placed Quart on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boet's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Mataro to the arena Mataro Feimat.
