Kolossos HH (#13) forced the game against Panionios (#12) into an overtime, but lost by three points 106-109. The game took place in Rodou. But the guests from Athens were better at the end. Kolossos HH was tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they could not keep up in overtime eventually losing that period 15-18. Panionios dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Kolossos HH's 36. They outrebounded Kolossos HH 44-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Panionios players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American players dominated the game. Guard Davion Berry (193-91, college: Weber St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and power forward Joey Dorsey (206-83, college: Memphis) chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was guard Stevie Browning (190-93, college: Marshall) with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and forward JayVaughn Pinkston (201-91, college: Villanova) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Panionios and five Kolossos HH players scored in double figures. Panionios (6-15) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Aris and Lavrio. Kolossos HH lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Panionios' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Athens Peristeri GS.
