Regular Season Round 24: RC Celta - Segle XXI 66-57

LF2 top team - Real Celta Vigo (22-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked Segle XXI (11-13) 66-57. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Segle XXI. The winners were led by center Raquel Carrera (188-1) who scored that evening 20 points and 6 rebounds and Nigerian forward Elo Edeferioka (188-93, college: Georgia Tech) supported her with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Even 19 points by point guard Estel Puiggros (179-1) did not help to save the game for Segle XXI. Forward Helena Pueyo (182-1) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Segle XXI's coach Javier Torralba rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Real Celta Vigo maintains first position in Group A with 22-2 record. Segle XXI at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. Real Celta Vigo will play against Cerdanyola (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Segle XXI will play against Arxil Pontevedra (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
