BBU was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 31-12 charge of KOS, which allowed them to win the game. KOS outrebounded BBU 42-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Slovenian point guard Jan Razdevsek (185-0) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Andi Smrtnik (195-94) contributed with 26 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Greek guard Dimitris Mouratoglou (197-84) answered with 19 points and center Mladen Perak (203-94) added 14 points in the effort for BBU. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
