Another interesting game for Palma (17-12) which hosted in S'Arenal against 4th placed Melilla Baloncesto (18-11). Eighth ranked Palma had an easy win 79-65. American forward Marcus Gilbert (198-93, college: Fairfield) stepped up and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and forward Alex Hernandez (190-93) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Granada and Palencia. Melilla Baloncesto at the other side keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Ourense. Palma will play against CB Granada (#6) on the road in the next round. Melilla Baloncesto will play against CB Prat and hopes to get back on the winning track.
