Regular Season Round 6: Acereras - Aztks 53-77

LMBPF top team - Aztks (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Acereras (0-6) in San Luis Potosi 77-53. Aztks forced 27 Acereras turnovers. Paloma Flores scored 14 points, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Yasmin Cuadros chipped in 8 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Lucia Sanchez (167-93) with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and Uruguayan power forward Florencia Sergio (188-96) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aztks have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record, which they share with Mieleras. Acereras at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Aztks will play against league's second-placed Mieleras in Guanajuato in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
