Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Faenza (18-7) defeated on the road 12th ranked Roma Elite (7-18) 65-53 on Sunday. They outrebounded Roma Elite 43-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. Roma Elite was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for center Serena Soglia (186-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Lithuanian center Ieva Preskienyte (193-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. Croatian forward Mia Masic (180-93) answered with 27 points and point guard Marta Grattarola (170-90) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Roma Elite.
