The game in Zacatecas was also quite interesting. Top-ranked Mieleras (6-0) played at the court of 6th ranked Barreteras (1-5). Mieleras managed to secure a 6-point victory 62-56 on Sunday. Mieleras forced 23 Barreteras turnovers. American guard Hazel Ramirez (165-92, college: Loyola Mary) notched 10 points to lead the effort and the former international guard Brisa Silva (170-84, college: Oklahoma St.) supported her with 7 points, 5 assists and 4 steals.
