The most surprising game was the first loss of Panathinaikos (19-1) in Athens on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Peristeri GS (14-7) 80-72. It ended at the same time the 16-game winning streak of Panathinaikos. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 25-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Peristeri GS looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for Ghanian-American forward Ben Bentil (206-95, college: Providence) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds.
