Eighth-ranked JL Bourg (13-11) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (18-6) on Sunday. The visitors from Villeurbanne managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a good game for Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-89, agency: BeoBasket) who saved his team from a defeat with 10 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Garrett Sim (188-90, college: Oregon) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists and Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for JL Bourg. Five ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket and four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket maintains first position with 18-6 record. JL Bourg at the other side keeps the eighth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Boulazac.
