Regular Season Round 160: Chicago B. - New York K. 105-113

Date: April 1, 2019
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Knicks (15-62) beat one of their biggest challengers Bulls (21-57) in Chicago 113-105 on Monday. Knicks made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Knicks made 9 blocks. It was a very good performance for Kevin Knox-II (206-99, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Luke Kornet (216-95, college: Vanderbilt) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Robin Lopez (213-88, college: Stanford) replied with 29 points and 7 rebounds and forward JaKarr Sampson (206-93, college: St.John's) added 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Bulls. Five Knicks and four Bulls players scored in double figures. Bulls' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Knicks maintains fifth position with 15-62 record. Bulls lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 57 games lost.
